As an educator, Alex has worked in a number of capacities, from private piano teacher to songwriting instructor to audition coach. In every setting, Alex identifies the strengths and needs of his particular students and sets goals to further their skills as musicians and storytellers.

Recently, Alex has taught and music directed for institutions like Interlochen Arts Camp, New York Film Academy, The Ailey School, National Dance Institute, Child’s Play NYC, and NexGen Theatre. Alex has additionally taught and accompanied for numerous audition workshops, master classes, choir concerts, and cabarets.
